COLLEGE BOUND/WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE WORKSHOP

  • Diana Strong Empowers with Self-Defense Little Rock, Arkansas United States (map)

This eight hour self-defense workshop is designed to give young students a strong foundation, with which, to head off to college. The workshop will teach ways to minimize risks, identify dangers, understand predatory behavior, recognize drugs designed to deceive, parking lot and dorm safety and many other critical subject matters to best enable how to be pro-active with their personal protection. Students will also learn basic, yet powerful self-defense techniques, blocks, kicks, and maneuvers, where to strike the vulnerability points are on a body, as well as how to break wrist grabs and choke holds.

We will use our new knowledge base and skillset to practice real life scenario training. Each student will receive a self-defense manual expounding on information taught in class, as well as receiving additional articles and lessons being updated constantly. The manual will also contain emergency numbers and hotlines, articles on college campus living and specific instructions on how to navigate the next four years with the strong base required to optimize their personal protection and safety.
